His memorable work and adamant will of change in the community has recognized him as the father of the community. Based on his sole experiences from the apartheid era, he continues to make certain that black communities are provided for and are put first.   Born in 1947 and breed in Alexandra, Twala developed his sense of generosity when he was 23 for the people of the Alexandra community, during this time is when he realized the effect of poor services especially of burial companies and decided to open his own undertaker company, Twala-Ama-Afrika , which translates ‘Carry the Africans’ . Picture: Didintle Mokgoatlheng The NACOSA free HIV Test and Counselling Initiatives held on the 16-17 August 2022, from 10:00AM-16:00PM at Rosebank College, Braamfontein in regards to HIV/AIDS Awareness Day by informing the youth with sexual health matters. In partnership with WITS Reproductive and HIV Institution (WITS RHI), USAUD and PEPFAR, Rosebank College took the initiative to create a 2 day HIV/AIDS awareness campaign for their students, informing them more on sexual health and sexual awareness, mainly for sexual active students. The 6 hour campaign consisted of services like HIV Counselling & Testing, Sexual Reproductive Health Services: PrEP, Condom Referral, Post-Violence Care, Economic Strengthening, PVC referral; this includes psychological support, forensic service...

Picture: Didintle M Johannesburg north residents are faced with trauma as an unidentified man continues to house break into the middle of the night to steal valuable possessions and set alight he houses he broke into since 2020. This social dilemma has been going on for 2 years when the residents realised a pattern of an arsonist in the neighbourhood, namely in Rosebank, Fairsand and Kew just to name a few. A resident described the arsonist as “ immortal ” and further more expressed how this has caused them to live in fear and terror. According to SAPS Provincial spokesperson, Brigadier Brenda Murudili, the alleged arsonist has a file of murder and burglary crime acts that that add up to 25 arson cases just in a matter of a year.
